How to Train Your Dragon Day

Stuck at home due to the Corona Virus and don't know what to do - we pulled out the DVD's and tuned into Netflix for the Race to the Edge series for the full How To Train Your Dragon franchise.

Looking for homeschool ideas across the curriculum - teaching ideas.co.uk has lots of ideas to use with the How To Train Your Dragon book but could be adapted to the series.  Page includes blank Top Trumps cards to make your own pack.

This ESL (English as a second language) site also has lots of worksheets

The School of Dragons website has colouring pages, science activities and worksheets as well as printables, along with the online game which you can also play.  

Game Mom has a page of dragon themed activities including crafts, worksheets, lacing templates and mazes and many more the biggest round up I have found so far.

During half-term we always use a lot of instant downloadable activities for quiet time when B is taking a nap, especially when it is below zero and everyone has a rotten cold!  In this case dragon and dinosaur printables were requested and we found these dragon mazes for practising maths skills over at print activities.com.
