Alphabet Activities from Miniature Masterminds

 By far the best set that I see for free available to download instantly here from Miniature Masterminds.

This set has over 400 pages and 27 different activities for the whole alphabet.  These days this kind of resource just doesn't happen!  If I were starting with alphabet activities I would download these and then fill in any gaps. What gaps you ask? Well if your not American then some of the words for things may be different but this is is usual thing.

Checkers board game /Draughts board game with a winter theme

  This is another one from Miniature Masterminds for a checkers (or as it is known in the UK draughts) game board and pieces with a winter theme.  The board is coloured squares whilst the pieces have images on them so it is an idea that could be varied by customising the board with something like stickers or using alternative manipulatives for the pieces but would still be a good basic game to have up your sleeve just as is.
