Horse See trace make

See trace make sheets were something I first came across on the musings of me blog by Michelle.  Unfortunately due to repeated problems with graphics copyright issues (some imposed retrospectively which is very unfair!) this blog has now shut up shop.   This sheet is one we made from a copyright free source!
The idea behind the sheet is that the sight word (usually a noun) is shown for reference in the top box, printed in grey for tracing in the second box, and the third blank box is for the child to make the word themselves - it could be with pen/pencil or with manipulatives such as magnetic letters, letters cut out of magazines/newspapers, letters on discs or bottle caps, letter stickers, letter stamps etc. etc.

Update - the download in this Muck Monsters post no longer works - however I have uploaded a new version which can be accessed from this post here

Duck lacing template

Originally designed as an alphabet bag label by love my life x 4 as part of a whole "D" unit this makes the perfect lacing shape.

Print, laminate and cut out slightly bigger than the letter then just use a hole punch to add the lacing holes.  Download the file from here or click here to see the original post with its other activities.
